Invocation Of The Goddess:

The priest calls upon the goddess to enter the circle and join with the spirit of the priestess as she goes about her work. They usually face each other and often touch or kiss. Again there is a vast variety of wording to be used and below is just a simple example which I find serves the purpose nicely although I will often use a poem or more words particularly when I work with a priestess who is very familiar to me:

I call upon the lady, our goddess,
Descend into the body of this your priestess,
Let her speak with your voice,
Act with your grace
And work with your wisdom.
